Olivier Croissant


Graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique, Olivier Croissant got interested in artificial intelligence in the early 80s and participated in the construction of the first expert systems using Lisp and the first object oriented architectures (Teknowledge) ; Then he went for finance and developed with a few colleagues a software company specialized in risk management in Palo Alto (Renaissance software) . This company has been acquired by Sungard in 1998. Pursuing in the software business , Olivier joined Algorithmics in Toronto to develop the riskLab network of joined venture between Universities and the software company, At that point Olivier decided to come back to France and joined Ixis an investment bank that later became Natixis, where he is working as a quantitative analyst.
