Vincent Torri is Assistant Professor (Maître de Conférences) in Mathematics at the University of Evry Val d'Essonne. He is a mathematics graduate from the University of Bordeaux 1 and holds a Phd of mathematics of University of Bordeaux 1. He is an acient student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan.

His research interests are numerical analysis in mathematics, involving numerical schemes based on wavelet-related objects in several fields : plasma modelisation in physics, Schödinger equation, finance, …
He is teaching numerical analysis courses as well as computer science courses (C/C++)
