Peter Pontuch is an teaching assistant (ATER) and Doctoral candidate at Paris-Dauphine. He holds degrees in econometrics from the University of Strasbourg and in finance from Paris-Dauphine. Before teaching at Dauphine he was a visiting scholar at the University of Maryland. He also has 4 years of experience working as risk controller and economist in a Paris-based asset management company.
 

Research

His recent research in Corporate Finance focuses on the interactions between financing frictions and product market competition, and on the effects of labor intensity on firm risk and stock returns.
