Gideon Ozik is an experienced alternative asset management professional. In his current role at Nexar, Gideon Ozik is responsible for developing customized investment strategies for strategic clients. Earlier in his career, He founded the hedge fund solutions group of Societe Generale Alternative Investment. Before SocGen, he worked as a quantitative-derivatives trader at NISA Investment Advisors. Earlier on, Mr. Ozik co-founded MyDTV/MeeVee Inc, a video personalization start-up.

Mr. Ozik is a regular speaker in academic and professional events and teaches investments at HEC, Paris. Mr. Ozik holds a B.Sc from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology (cum laude), an MBA from Washington University and is a CFA charter holder. Gideon Ozik's research is focused on media and finance and he is currently completing his doctoral work at EDHEC Business School, France.
